Description
In the mid-1960s, the Shelby Cobra 427 made sports car history: Carroll Shelby combined a lightweight roadster shape with American power and created an icon whose curvy silhouette and uncompromising charisma still fascinate motorsport fans today. Solido captures precisely this feeling with the Shelby Cobra 427 MKII in 1:18 scale and brings the classic car to life in a silver finish. The long hood with accentuated hood, the widely flared fenders and the round front lights meet an open cockpit with a filigree windscreen and striking roll bar. Dark sidepipes run along the sides, the black wheels have a discreet red ring and sporty stripes in blue and red run across the hood and front. The harmonious proportions, cleanly traced lines and finely placed details such as the discreet front brackets give the model the presence of the famous roadster. One look is enough to feel the racetrack DNA of this legend in a compact collector's format. Solido has been synonymous with detailed diecast models of iconic vehicles since 1932, combining the fascination of historic classic cars with the dynamics of modern sports cars.
