As a high-performance derivative of the Ford Mustang, the Shelby Mustang GT500 of the late 1960s made US automotive history under Carroll Shelby. Its uncompromising appearance with fastback lines, long hood and motorsport looks made it a legend of the muscle car era. Solido captures precisely this charisma in 1:18 scale and translates it into a collector's item that enthusiasts will immediately recognize. The GT500 is presented in bright red with sporty double stripes in black, which emphasize the dynamic profile. The front section features the typical combination of a low front end, additional lights positioned in the middle and striking hood catches, while side air intakes and the muscular rear end round off the powerful silhouette. Precise proportions, cleanly drawn body lines and finely modeled details on the rims, grille and trim strips ensure an authentic impression of scale. The result is a model that captures the spirit of the GT500 in a nutshell and attracts attention in every display case. Since 1932, Solido has stood for detailed diecast models of iconic vehicles, from classic vintage cars to modern sports cars.
